Long is the road and short is the life

Hamish Duke from Netflix's The Order

Bio

Name: Hamish Duke
Species: human (werewolf)
Age: unstated, presumably mid-20s.
Education: philosophy major, formerly pre-law
Affiliations: The Knights of St. Christopher, The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose
Hamish Duke is the current leader of The Knights of St. Christopher, a small sect of dark magic-hunting werewolf champions that was formerly part of The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, where their talents were applied to root out and kill so-called "practitioners" of magic that would use it for evil ends.He is bonded to the hide of the wolf Tundra, said to be the most cunning of the Knights, reflected in his own wisdom and cleverness. As the leader of the Knights, he preaches patience and restraint to his fellows, preferring a well-thought plan to shooting from the hip or murdering as a first resort. Despite this, he never shies away from performing his duty by whatever means are necessary, up to and including the wholesale slaughter of practitioners of dark magic.Much of his free time is spent either drinking cocktails or inventing new ones, and as a self-described "alcohol aficionado" with the metabolism of a werewolf, he excels at beer pong, though with a lower win rate than fellow Knight Randall.Following the death of Cassie, his girlfriend and the Knight who turned him into a werewolf, his own mortality began to wear on him, causing him to be reticent to become invested in new relationships. Upon discovering that the Knights were also capable of being practitioners of magic rather than merely magical beings, he lost some of the trepidation over new beginnings, pursuing magical power and romance alike while working alongside the Order instead of in opposition to it.Despite being the most serious and studious of the Knights, he has a dry sense of humor.

Crossovers

Werewolfism/lycanthropy manifests differently in the Order than in most other things but Hamish can still be adapted to any other horror/urban fantasy setting.
